Tech buyers are the most visually literate audience a brand will ever sell to. They scroll past stock-shot promos before the first beat, and they know the difference between a piece edited by someone who cares and one assembled by a vendor on a deadline. That is the audience we shoot for.

00:02:11 Chapter 01

The three shapes the work tends to take.

Most of the tech work we ship falls into three shapes. Founder pieces, where the camera holds long enough for a person to read as a person, not a talking-points machine. Product films, where a feature has to feel like a tool the buyer already trusts. And customer stories, where someone outside the company talks about what actually changed for them, in their own room, in their own light. All three get the same treatment, real environments, professional audio, and a color grade that lines up with the rest of the brand.

00:09:42 Chapter 02

Why these engagements live inside a retainer.

Tech also runs on a release calendar, and that is most of why these engagements end up living inside a retainer instead of going one shoot at a time. Launches, demos, funding rounds, keynotes, the video has to ship alongside the news, not three weeks after it has already moved on. Planning a quarter ahead is what keeps everything from cracking on a Tuesday when Wednesday's announcement gets moved up. A typical month tends to be one to three production days, the full post pipeline, and the platform cutdowns. First cuts land in the window we agreed on, and revisions are scoped at the start instead of running open-ended.

Transcript, Common Questions

Common questions, straight answers.

Q · 01

What kind of tech brands do you work with?

A

Founder-led companies in SaaS, dev tools, fintech, and platform plays. Series A through D, mostly. Pre-revenue brands as well, when the founder is ready to commit to the visual layer of the company.

Q · 02

Do you produce founder videos and product launches under one engagement?

A

Yes. Most retainers cover both. A founder piece sets the brand voice, then product films and customer stories carry it across the calendar. Same team, same look, same instinct.

Q · 03

How quickly can you turn around a founder piece?

A

Two to three weeks from production day to first cut, depending on scope and the post pipeline. On retainer, urgent launches get scheduled in advance and we hit the date.

Q · 04

Do you travel for tech shoots?

A

Often. We are based in San Diego with a full SoCal coverage radius. New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and Dubai are some of the places our clients, past and present, reside. Other markets are a discovery call.

Q · 05

Do you work with agencies, or only direct?

A

Both. We have shipped white-label production for agencies and direct-to-brand work for founders. The retainer model works either way.
