Relevision Media (Relevision Media, "we", "our", or "us") operates the website at relevisionmedia.com and provides cinematic video production, color grading, and related creative services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site and through engagement with our services, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

By using the site or contacting us through it, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you email us, book a discovery call through Calendly, or otherwise contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company, project details, and any other information you choose to share. We collect this so we can respond and, if you become a client, deliver the work.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider may log standard server data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this for security, performance, and aggregate traffic analysis.

Embedded content. The site embeds video and scheduling tools from third parties, including YouTube, Vimeo, and Calendly. These services may set their own cookies and collect data subject to their own privacy policies, which we recommend you review.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, schedule discovery calls, and follow up on prospective engagements,
  • deliver, invoice for, and support the production and post-production work we have agreed to perform,
  • maintain business records required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance,
  • operate, secure, and improve the site and our services,
  • communicate updates that relate to a project or engagement you are part of.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How we share information

We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Service providers who help us operate the business, including our hosting provider, email service, scheduling platform (Calendly), accounting and invoicing tools, and cloud storage and post-production tools used to deliver client work.
  • Professional advisors such as our accountants and legal counsel, when necessary.
  • Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Relevision Media, our clients, or the public.
  • Successors in interest in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Business records related to client engagements are typically retained for at least seven years in accordance with applicable tax and accounting standards. Inquiry records that do not result in an engagement are deleted on a routine cadence.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain uses, to receive a portable copy of your data, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at terrance@relevisionmedia.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses a minimal set of essential cookies needed to operate. If we add web analytics in the future, we intend to use a privacy-respecting tool that does not build cross-site behavioral profiles. Embedded third-party content, including video players and the scheduling tool, may set their own cookies subject to their respective policies.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site and our services are not directed to children under the age of sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

International users

We are based in the United States, and any personal information you provide will be processed in the United States. If you are visiting the site from outside the United States, please be aware that data protection laws in your jurisdiction may differ from those of the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be flagged on the site or communicated directly when appropriate.
